It is not a new dedicated mailbox, and the private delivery address is not published. You can count text without contacting anyone.

Make the unit explicit

For a discrepancy, give a small invented text example, the entered byte budget and the result you expected. State whether the concern is UTF-8 bytes, UTF-16 units, scalar values, a preview offset or an export summary. Those are different quantities. A rendered symbol may contain several scalars, and the calculator deliberately does not count grapheme clusters.

If an accent or emoji is involved, include the code-point labels from the preview where possible. For instance, precomposed é differs from e followed by a combining acute accent, even when their appearance is similar. A code-point description makes the example clearer than a screenshot alone.

Newline questions

Describe the actual textarea value rather than assuming original file or clipboard line endings were preserved. Browsers can normalize pasted CRLF before the script reads the input. The tool measures the received JavaScript string; it cannot recover bytes that were changed before that boundary. The guide and examples explain this distinction.

Text is not normalized, trimmed or automatically shortened. An entered BOM is counted, and an unpaired surrogate rejects instead of being replaced. The byte budget refers to raw UTF-8 payload, excluding JSON escaping, headers, metadata, compression and storage overhead. An external system's different total does not by itself demonstrate a counting defect.

Share a safe reproduction

Please do not email passwords, personal records or confidential text. Replace them with an invented sequence retaining the important code points. Include the browser name if the issue concerns display, copy or downloads. Email is handled by email and forwarding services, outside the local calculator boundary.
